OUR
SPIRITUAL FATHERS -

And even
as we participated in Father's Day celebrations with loved ones,
may we also remember that Father's Day can be a day to remember
our spiritual fathers as well. Ever since having the vision of the riders at the door - George
Washington & Thomas Jefferson - I have been doing research
about these men, wanting to know more. Did you realize
that they both had a hand in the planning of the city of
Washington D.C.? In visiting the websites devoted to their
historical homes, I can't help but feel how much time we waste
in modern society. Our forefathers led such productive
lives, with letter writing, and writing books, and even
designing and building their own homes, which are still here
today 200 years later. They were very much involved in the
development of America as a nation.
Statistics say that 3 out of 4
Americans who go to church, have
not registered! Do we feel it is
unspiritual or worldly to let our voice be heard? Yet many times
we will sit at our supper tables or lunch tables at work and complain about the direction of
our country and what an ungodly state it is
in.
Can you imagine how different it could be if more of our
statesmen, congressmen, governors, and yes even presidents
were godly men and God fearing men? How can this
happen, unless we, the Church, rise up and defend our godly
heritage, and actually register and vote. I find it
so ironic that come that Tuesday in November, so many
church doors will be opened to receive our countrymen's
votes, yet so many of our church members themselves will
be staying home.
Father God,
may we live up to the potential that you designed within
us from birth. May we not the waste minutes and hours of
our lives, but may we be devoted to serving you with all
of our hearts, souls and minds. It is O.K. to use
our minds even to think and to ponder and to mediate on
our Scriptures.
Lord God, may we reflect upon the wisdom and life
examples you have given to your people down through the
years. May we remember our spiritual fathers
living and those gone on to live with you in
glory. May they not turn over in their graves at
what their descendents are doing with their inheritance
in the natural and spiritual inheritance.
Lord
God, we here in America have inherited a land of
freedom. May we not squander it. May we not
neglect it, but may we join together as Christian
brothers of the faith and fight for our religious
freedoms granted and promised unto us.
Father, so
many young men died to preserve and to protect and to
gain that freedom. Even as they are dying everyday overseas in Iraq, may
their deaths not be in vain. Lord, you are doing a
work there. You are establishing a groundwork for
governmental freedom, and with that freedom will not
also religious freedoms come as well? Already many Iraqis
have received Christ even from our soldiers. Are
not the soldiers there, also fighting for our God as
well as for our country? And it is true in Iraq
many might stay home when free elections are held, but it is
out of fear of their very lives. Even now the
enemy is killing official after official. But we
here have no excuse. There are no bombs outside of
our voting booths! There are no gunmen hiding to
shoot us and our little ones if we speak out, if we
exercise our rights as free Americans to cast our votes.
Lord
God, I pray that you don't cast your vote of judgment
against us. Have mercy, Lord upon us as a nation
and a people. Speak to us, God. Speak to us
in the voice of your prophets, in the voice of the
Master, in the voice of the soldiers of the Cross down
through the ages. May we hear and listen to the
voice of Paul. May we hear and listen to the voice
of Martin Luther. May we hear and listen to the
voice of James Kennedy. Is he not even a voice crying
in the wilderness crying, "Wake up! Wake up,
Church, Wake up! Your very life and liberties are
at stake!" Have mercy, Lord.
CHURCH,
REMAIN SILENT NO LONGER

I
am calling men the likes of James Kennedy out of
the pulpits and into positions for they are needed.
You’re not the only one with riders at the door
with activation orders.
You are activated into duty for it is a time of
war. You will see
men of great stature of different places step down from their
pulpits and step into positions in the political arena where
their voice can be heard, where their vote can be counted, where
they no longer have to say what is politically correct, but they
can call a spade a spade.
You’ve seen a “Civil War’ coming for many years.
It is here. Who
would have ever thought that they would see the day when
gay men and lesbians would stand up and say that they were
married and demand that the whole nation receive it? Who would have ever thought that they would see the day when
the Ten Commandments would be stripped from the
courthouse?
Years ago they did say
that children could no longer pray in the schools and the
Church remained silent, but it is bubbling over.
This pot, which was once at a simmer, is bubbling
over and the Church can remain
silent no longer.
Even the movie, “The Passion of the Christ” it
was made for this day in this hour in this age.
He didn’t die for a small thing, a small reason.
But even as you saw up there on the screen the
torture and the torment and the blood that was shed for
your sins, how could you stand idly by as men would mock
the Lord you serve? They
mock the statutes of Heaven.
They mock everything that is good and pure and
holy.
Yes,
Christ did die for your sins, but there is just as many
servants that did die and bleed on these grounds on this
nation and even around the world for liberty and for
freedom, and yet my Church has stood back idly and watched
it taken away, and taken away, and taken away, and taken
away.
It is a time to band together and to just say, “No!”
Even as with the terrorist organizations, even as
with Hitler, there is no appeasement.
You can never satisfy their demands because
underneath it all is an antichrist spirit and they will
want more and more and more and more and they will never
be satisfied. You cannot give up just a little bit of
liberty because they are going for it all. You cannot give
up just a little bit of religious freedom.
They
will not be satisfied until Christ and his name is off
the airways and they have even been trying to do that:
radio, TV, Internet. They’re going for it all.
They’ve already gotten Him out of schools. In many
places, he’s out of the workplace. He’s even out of
the Church! It’s no longer religiously correct to call
a serpent, a serpent, to call evil, evil. In the nation
to the north, it is against their laws to speak out
against homosexuality. It has been banned. Do you not
think it would be foolish to think that they would want
it to be taken out of this country as well?
Even
as you’ve seen the guns taken from other countries,
they’re after this country. And no, I’m not taking
about one political party, but the spirits that are
behind these things, the spirits that are trying to take
over control of the entire world – that dominating
force. And so, yes, this is an important year.
This year will go down in history, even as did the year when the
Sons of the Republic did gather together and did decide to fight
against England and King George so that they
could have liberty, so that they could have freedom –
freedom of religion. And look two hundred years later
and you see it’s been taken away!
What kind of world will your little grandchildren be brought up in? Will they be in neighborhoods where there is not only gay people living, but married together? If you want to know how bad it can get, just look at some of the other countries in the world and see. Just look into Europe and see how many liberties have been taken away. Do you not think those spirits want to do the same here? And
so yes, Church, your orders are activated!
THE
BATTLE FOR MARRIAGE

There
is a war against the moral values of our nations. This war has
escalated in the fact that same-sex marriages are popping up
around the world. Amazingly, nations that one might not expect
to be taking a strong moral stand are boldly resisting this
attack: the issue is being vigorously fought in France
and was defeated in Australia.
The United States is under attack in
the area of same-sex marriages as well. Many in government here
seem to feel that we should not "discriminate" against
people of a different sexual preference. President Bush has made
his position very clear that marriage is for people of the
opposite sex. However, it does not look like any law will be
passed to stop this perverse assault.
We are calling on you as our intercessors to
bring this issue before the Lord. This is an issue that needs
the influence and intervention of God. Your prayers, plus
letters to your elected officials will help accomplish that
goal.
(American Family Association) Thousands of
churches will be participating in "Marriage Protection
Sunday" on July 11. That will be followed with "Call
Your Senator Day" on Monday, July 12. I
certainly hope your church will be participating.
Here is what pastors and Sunday School classes are
being urged to do. Pastors are encouraged to lift up the
God-ordained institution of marriage in their sermons, and to
present the serious threat which homosexual marriage presents.
Sunday Schools are encouraged to discuss marriage from a
Biblical perspective, and also to discuss the threat of
homosexual marriage.
1.) Pastors and Sunday School classes are urged to pass
out sheets containing information on how to contact your
Senators. (Information
sheet)
2.)
If you have not already done so, you can sign the No Gay
Marriage petition on that site: nogaymarriage.com
3.)
"Call Your Senator Day" will be observed on the
following Monday, July 12. Individuals are urged to call their
Senators on that day.
4.) The
Senate will vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment on July 15.
We urge you to respond to the call of President Bush for support
by helping send One Million letters to the U.S. Senate. This
will be the most letters ever received by the Senate on any
issue. Take
action now.
Many Senators are willing to let a single activist Federal judge
declare all marriage laws void and homosexual marriage legal. We
must not allow that to happen. It will happen unless God's
people take action.
Some have referred to this as the most important vote in the
history of our nation. If the homosexual activists are
successful, homosexual marriage will radically reshape our
society. They will force acceptance of their lifestyle on the
rest of society.

THE
CHURCH IN COMBAT

I have a word for the Church. As you experience the increase in
spiritual warfare, the Mosques and the Muslims all over
this nation are joining in prayer with their forces in the
Middle East and together they are
calling on Allah for the destruction of this nation!
Even when they pray at times they are not aware of what they are
praying, but they are praying to Allah that he would be
dominant, that he would subdue the “heathen”, that he would
bring all things under his feet.
And there
is concentrated prayer in the Arab world here in America and
across the Middle East, for this one goal to happen:
that Allah would dominate the planet, that Allah would rise,
that Islam would be the power in the future.
Many of your
battles are connected with the worldwide struggle going on right
now for this planet and you are going to have to “slim down”
saith the Lord. You’re going to have to fast and pray to get
through this narrow place. You, at the Church, are in combat.
You’re in combat against powers of darkness.
The weapons
of your warfare, they are mighty through God. They are not
carnal. But you will have to begin to fast and pray and seek
your God and walk in the Holy Ghost and listen to the individual
commands that he gives you.
Victory is obtainable in this hour:
- But you are going to
have to press in
- You are going to have
to become serious
- You are going to have
to do some fasting and praying
- You are going to have
to speak against the powers that are coming against you
- You are going to have
to stand strong in the Lord and in the Blood of the Lamb.
And you will
see your individual and corporate victories if you will listen
unto Me. The battle is intense. It is intense in the natural and
it has become extremely intense in the spirit realm.
FOUNDING
FATHERS WAR ON TERROR

Most Americans probably think the
Islamic terrorists declared war on the United States
Sept. 11, 2001. Actually, it started a long time before
- right from the birth of the nation. In 1784, Thomas Jefferson,
John Adams and Benjamin Franklin were commissioned by
the first Congress to assemble in Paris to see about
marketing U.S. products in Europe. Jefferson quickly
surmised that the biggest challenge facing U.S. merchant
ships were those referred to euphemistically as
"Barbary pirates." They
weren't "pirates" at all, in the traditional
sense, Jefferson noticed. Their motivation was strictly
religious. They bought and sold slaves, to be sure. They
looted ships. But they used their booty to buy guns,
ships, cannon and ammunition. Like those we call
"terrorists" today, they saw themselves
engaged in jihad and called themselves "mujahiddin."
Why
did these 18th-century terrorists represent such a grave
threat to U.S. merchant ships? With independence from
Great Britain, the former colonists lost the protection
of the greatest navy in the world. The U.S. had no navy
- not a single warship. Jefferson inquired of his
European hosts how they dealt with the problem. He was
stunned to find out that France and England both paid
tribute to the fiends - who would, in turn, use the
money to expand their own armada, buy more weaponry,
hijack more commercial ships, enslave more innocent
civilians and demand greater ransom. This didn't make
sense to Jefferson. He recognized the purchase of peace
from the Muslims only worked temporarily. They
would always find an excuse to break an agreement, blame
the Europeans and demand higher tribute.
...
As the first secretary of state, Jefferson urged the
building of a navy to rescue American hostages held in
North Africa and to deter future attacks on U.S. ships.
In 1792, he commissioned John Paul Jones to go to
Algiers under the guise of diplomatic negotiations, but
with the real intent of sizing up a future target of a
naval attack.
Jefferson was ready to retire a year later when what
could only be described as "America's first
Sept. 11th" happened. America was struck with
its first mega-terror attack by jihadists. In the fall
of 1793, the Algerians seized 11 U.S. merchant ships and
enslaved more than 100 Americans. When word of the
attack reached New York, the stock market crashed.
Voyages were canceled in every major port. Seamen were
thrown out of work. Ship suppliers went out of business.
What Sept. 11 did to the U.S. economy in 2001, the mass
shipjacking of 1793 did to the fledgling U.S. economy in
that year.
Accordingly, it took the U.S. Congress only four months
to decide to build a fleet of warships. But even then,
Congress didn't choose war, as Jefferson prescribed.
Instead, while building what would become the U.S. Navy,
Congress sent diplomats to reason with the Algerians.
The U.S. ended up paying close to $1 million and giving
the pasha of Algiers a new warship, "The
Crescent," to win release of 85 surviving American
hostages.
It
wasn't until 1801, under the presidency of Jefferson,
that the U.S. engaged in what became a four-year war
against Tripoli. And it wasn't until 1830, when France
occupied Algiers, and later Tunisia and Morocco, that
the terrorism on the high seas finally ended. France
didn't leave North Africa until 1962 - and it quickly
became a major base of terrorism once again.
What's the moral of the story? Appeasement
never works. Jefferson saw it. Sept. 11th
was hardly the beginning. The war in which we fight
today is the longest conflict in human history. It's
time to learn from history, not repeat its mistakes.
NEW
LIFE NEW FIRES Prayer

Father God,
you have not turned your back upon your household.
You’re coming with a move of your Spirit and
it’s coming into many denominations.
Every denomination whose door is open shall receive
their portion, for the Holy
Spirit of God is coming to breathe new life into his
people. He is
coming to bring new fires into his people.
Now, may we go forth and be fire starters –
people who will fan those flames and stir up the coals
once again; stir up the coals once again – coals from
your altar and your holy place.
It
is not a new denomination, no, but you are coming to
breathe new life into the churches which have already been
established.
New life; new life; new life!
Even when the Son of Man did come, he didn’t come
to build his own little kingdom, but he went from city to
city, and village and hamlet and he did speak into their
hearts new life, and he did bring with him, yes the
miraculous, yes the healings, yes the compassionate touch.
You
are coming to walk in our midst again with new life, with
new life, with new life. It’s like we’ve been cardboard paper dolls and you’re
coming to give us life; you’re coming to give us life.
We’ve had the rules; we’ve had the regiments. We’ve known how to walk like the
tin soldiers, but you’re bringing us to life; you’re
bringing this army to life.
Prophecy:
This is a War in the Spirit
I am bringing this army to life.
Soldiers from every rank, from every denomination, shall
come together in one accord under the banner of the Lord because
of the unity of the enemy which has put his face against this
nation. From every
Arab state, have they not come together with one purpose: to
seek and to destroy America and democracy and the Christ
believing people?
And
so even as the enemy has banded together, it is now time for the
sons of America to band together – the Christian sons –
because this is a supernatural war. This is a war in the spirit.
This is a war between the Son of God and the enemy of
your soul. So come
together, come together, come together, come together.
Fight no longer about theological issues and discussions. It is time to pick up the sword in the natural and it’s
time to pick up the sword in the spirit.
This battle’s just begun.
This battle’s just begun.
And
I’m not sending you out alone, but have I not already sent my
Holy Spirit here ahead of time?
Yes, the spirit of joy did come and water the dry parched
ground, but now it’s time for those seeds to take root and to
grow and to flourish in the fields of this nation. You will even be a breadbasket to the world.
OBEDIENCE
TRIGGERS THE ANOINTING

I’m going to pull many into a powerful stream of the
Holy Spirit.
I’m going to get the obedient ones out.
I’m going to pull them into a place of joy and
happiness such as they’ve not known.
I’m going to break open the prison doors and
I’m going to take the captives free, and I’m going to
bring you into a realm of the Holy Ghost that you’ve
been crying for, and dying for and paying a price for, for
years.
You
are not going to be denied that which you have prayed for,
cried for and sacrificed for, saith the Lord. If it cannot happen here, then it will happen there, but you
will not be left out of what I do of the move of the Holy
Spirit. It
is the time of the towel on the hip of humility.
It is the time of preferring your brother above
yourself. It
is the time of demonstrating the ministry, the humility
and the love of the Lord Jesus Christ one to another.
They will know that you are Christians by your love
one for another, by your care one for another.
It is not by your hiding on the hill and proclaiming yourself to
be the great one of the body, but by getting down into the
dirt and the mud and healing the eyes of those who are
blind, by opening the ears of those who are deaf and
bringing provision to those who have nothing.
You will not be a group that sits on high and
pontificates directions of the Lord. You will be a group who is actively involved on a grassroots
level with everyone around you.
You will be vaulting people in front of you.
They will step on your back to get higher and you
will be glad to give it to them.
Oh, but in return, saith the Lord, I will do signs
and wonders at your hands; miracles will flow from your
fingertips. You
will have that, which you have requested from the
Scriptures. You
will see the works of God.
You will be involved in the very works of God.
I
have withheld it from the others because they have set
themselves up as divine oracles and pontificators of the
word of God, but they themselves will not get their hands
dirty, therefore they will not have my power.
Did not the Son of God go into the highways and the
byways? Did
not the Son of God identify himself with the people?
Did he not walk with them; talk with them; sit with
sinners; eat with harlots and prostitutes? Did he not mix with the common folk?
Did he seclude himself on the high hill and only
communicate with the high priest of the body?
Did he only fellowship with those of like lineage,
like calling? Did
he only quote “let his hair down” with people who were
on the same level as he was, or was he a man of the
people? Did
he choose his friends from the poor: Lazarus, Mary of
Bethany? The
King of Glory was not best buddies with Caiaphas, with the
leaders of the temple, with the Roman centurions of the
time. He did
not seek to hang out with the " Hollywood stars"
but he went down to Bethlehem; he went down to Bethel; he
went down to the cities of Israel and he made his friends
among the people.
What
does that tell you? That
your best friendships come from those who have no power,
no ability to help you; they can’t finance your
ministry; they can’t fund you.
Oh how men chase after the big buck people and oh
how they loose the anointing of God when they do!
If you want the anointing of God, if you want to
see eyes opened and miracles happen, if you want to be
pleasing to your heavenly father then walk as he walked;
talk as he talked; do the things that are pleasing in his
sight.
There
are doors that are automatically triggered in heaven when
you do the right thing.
You don’t have to beg and knock.
That is why they don’t open.
People beg and knock and kick and scream and the
doors will never open because they are opened, they are
automatically opened – there’s an automatic door
opener on the things of God in heaven – they are opened
by obedience.
They’re
not opened by much prayer; they’re not opened by
giving; they’re not opened by money; they’re not
opened by cutting your arms and fasting and praying.
You think that by your much prayer, you’ll be
heard? I
doubt it.
When I tell you to go to Jerusalem and minister and you
go down and set up an outreach on the beach and call it
the will of God, do you think I’m going to bless you? Do you think I’m going to open doors for you? Do you
think that the miraculous is going to fall?
No! You’ve
been in disobedience, yet you want the power of God, you
want the openings of God, you want the great things of
God so that you can be perceived as a great leader. But great leaders go to great lengths to obey
me.
They get on ships and they come to nations when
they only have $300 in their pocket (Rodney
Howard-Browne). They
do things that I tell them to do and then God shows up,
and then God has his way.
So I’m training you.
I’m not teaching you to condemn anyone or to be
at odds with anyone, but I’m telling you, as Jesus
told the people about the Pharisees, “Listen
to what they say, but don’t do what they do.”
They
love to do what they do.
It’s a pretence. They are whited sepulchres.
They tell you to do things that they themselves
won’t lift a finger to do! So don’t follow
their example, but follow Mine, says the Lord:
wash the feet; go down
to the right places when you’re told; make your
friends right; be obedient to your heavenly father.
Why did not the Lord pick his disciples from the ruling
class of Israel? Why
did he not go to the temple and pick the high priest and
the leaders of the nation?
Why did he go to the fishermen, the tax
collectors? Because
he knew they’d obey him.
He knew they had a heart for God that they would
do the right thing. And he knew that the other
people would heap it upon themselves and abuse the power
of God and take advantage of the sheep.
Therefore he chose his disciples wisely.
So
it is in the coming days.
Choose your friends by the Holy Spirit.
Don’t choose them by what they can do for you.
Choose them by what the Holy Ghost tells you.
The power of God is going to fall in your
ministries if you have hearts that are right. You
will be used in healing.
I will advance
you as long as you do the type of obedience that has
been set before you in this example:
When I call, you respond.
When I ask you, you say, “Yes, Lord,”
even if you don’t understand.
Then I will bless you, saith God.
I will reward you for what you’ve done.
You won't have to go empty-handed.
I will repay, but I’m giving you lessons in
faith, lessons in obedience, lessons in how to move with
God and not depend on people.
Heaven is opening for this group.
Heaven is opening.
Your obedience plus the other things you are
doing: yes you need to pray; yes, you need to walk
right; yes, you need to do the other things.
But you cannot get heaven to open without the
on time obedience also to the Holy Ghost and that is the
element that is so missing in the churches.
They
will fast; they will pray; they will give their money;
they will attend; they will do a number of things, but
they fall short of heaven’s requirement of obedience
to the Holy Ghost and then they are left with a measure
or a level of Christianity, but they don’t have the
fullness of the Spirit flowing on them. It’s
because they won’t follow him fully, so they get a
measure of the anointing and they simply have to fake
the rest, because they don’t have it, because I
can’t release it.
It’s
triggered automatically by obedience.
So hear the Lord and obey the Lord; it’s that
simple and if you’ll hear, if you’ll
have an ear to hear and then you’ll have a heart to
obey, things will happen.
