Wait but Awhile Longer

Does this apply to you or does this apply to you? You have set yourself down; you have waited upon the Lord. You have not pushed yourself forward. But the hand of God is upon you, son, to bring you forward. Fear not. Fear not. Fear not. Fear not and again I say unto you, fear not. Sleep peacefully. You've not done a thing wrong. You have not offended me. You have not pushed yourself. You have not shoved anything or anyone aside, buy you've waited on God and waited on God and waited on God.

And you've trampled in the background and you've pawed and you've dug the ground and you've snorted like the bull that you are. You are strong in the Lord. You've been given God given strength, but also a gentleness to temper your strength. You are strong, yes, and you can pull the load, but you are also gentle. So gentle that you will take time with the little ones. You do not brush them aside in your strength. And I've combined in you both the strength and the wisdom of your father with the gentleness of your mother. And there is a wonderful blend in you, son.

And you are not guilty of any infraction. Even if you be charged with it I will knock it down, saith the Lord. You've waited and you are waiting patiently upon Me.

And the day is coming when my hand will lift you and set you to the fullness of the positions that I've promised you. You do not need to lift a finger. Wait patiently upon the Lord and in the meantime enjoy the things of God. Enjoy the people around you. You are a people person; you do love people. You do love the flock.

This is not idle time, son. This is important work that I've given to you to do. It is important to pick up those children and to play with them; it is important to stop and to talk with those people and to joke with them and to laugh with them and to be a friend unto them. I've put this mantle upon you. I've put upon you that you would love and that you would enjoy the people around you.

So, fear not. Even as you enjoy a good meal, as you enjoy a good sermon, enjoy the goodness and the friendship of the people around you. 'Tis not a waste of time. 'Tis not a sidetrack. "'Tis not an idle conversation, son. It is deep reaching unto deep. It is joy. It is interconnecting. It is weaving in the Body. It is forming alliances. It is forming unity. It is forming love one for another.

So, you do ring the bells in heaven, this day. My hand is upon you, and I commend you, son, for your patience in waiting. Wait but a while longer. The hand of God will lift thee and set thee and all will be as I have shown you.
