Go High into the Sovereignty of God

"Go high into the knowing that God Almighty rules and controls the kingdoms of men; and that includes you and your life and your family."

For as many different fowls of the air that there are and fish of the sea that exist, there are that many different ways that I prepare men for leadership.

Think it not strange if I take one out into the wilderness for a season and they seemingly disappear from your sight. For they will come back filled with the glory and the power and the direction of God for the nation.

So, fear not, fear not, fear not for the diversity of development of the leadership in the body. You will not understand how I develop many of my people.

What understanding is there to a prison cell? How could you develop the future leader of Egypt through imprisonment? What a strange thing, saith the Lord.

Would you not take him to the finest colleges? Would you not put him among the intellectual elite? Would you not let him rub shoulders, elbow to elbow with those that are on top and up and coming and prosperous and know the ways? No, saith the Lord. No!

I have my ways of developing my men and my women, and they shall not be tampered with! And in due season that which I am doing behind the scenes will come forward, will be exhibited, will be displayed and the wisdom of God will be known - the understanding will come.

Shall I give one full understanding before the office is commissioned upon him? Shall I give him all the leadings in advance? No, saith the Lord. No! That which you need to do the job that I’ve given you will be given upon the commissioning of the job: the instructions shall come; the anointings shall come.

I will whistle, saith the Lord. From the north, and the south, and the east and the west I will bring the captains, I will bring the counselors, I will bring the prophets, I will bring all that is needed to accomplish that which I have planned, but I do not reveal my plans in full.

I do not tell my leaders exactly what I am going to do. They must wait upon the Lord. They must walk, even at times one inch at a time, one foot at a time in darkness, in blindness as it were. But yet, not blind one bit, not in darkness; for they know that the Lord leadeth them; they know the way; they know Whom they believe in; they know their maker.

They may not know every step, every direction; they may not know where the armies of Israel are coming from. But God knows all things and God doeth all things well.

And if your faith is not in God, then you might as well go home. If your faith is not in the one who created the universe, then you might as well quit.

But, if your faith is in Him, Who cannot be defeated, Who can move mountains, Who can split seas, Who can arrange all circumstances to his benefit then you can sleep; you can be at peace even in the dungeon cell, even when the enemy is at the gate; for you know Whom you have believed in, and are persuaded that He is able.

It does not rest upon the hand of man; it does not rest upon the lineage that you come from; it does not rest upon the prophets in your court, but it rests upon He who controls it all.

Go high into the sovereignty of God, now. Go high into the knowing that God Almighty rules and controls the kingdoms of men; and that includes you and your life and your family. Trust in the Lord. Rest in God. Do not move into fleshly plans, but wait, wait upon the Lord; He will provide all things for your kingship.
