Prophecy:
Obedience Triggers the Anointing
I’m going to pull many into a powerful
stream of the Holy Spirit.
I’m going to get the obedient ones out.
I’m going to pull them into a place of joy and
happiness such as they’ve not known.
I’m going to break open the prison doors and
I’m going to take the captives free, and I’m going to
bring you into a realm of the Holy Ghost that you’ve
been crying for, and dying for and paying a price for, for
years.
You
are not going to be denied that which you have prayed for,
cried for and sacrificed for, saith the Lord. If it cannot happen here, then it will happen there, but you
will not be left out of what I do of the move of the Holy
Spirit. It
is the time of the towel on the hip of humility.
It is the time of preferring your brother above
yourself. It
is the time of demonstrating the ministry, the humility
and the love of the Lord Jesus Christ one to another.
They will know that you are Christians by your love
one for another, by your care one for another.
It is not by your hiding on the hill and proclaiming yourself to
be the great one of the body, but by getting down into the
dirt and the mud and healing the eyes of those who are
blind, by opening the ears of those who are deaf and
bringing provision to those who have nothing.
You will not be a group that sits on high and
pontificates directions of the Lord. You will be a group who is actively involved on a grassroots
level with everyone around you.
You will be vaulting people in front of you.
They will step on your back to get higher and you
will be glad to give it to them.
Oh, but in return, saith the Lord, I will do signs
and wonders at your hands; miracles will flow from your
fingertips. You
will have that, which you have requested from the
Scriptures. You
will see the works of God.
You will be involved in the very works of God.
I
have withheld it from the others because they have set
themselves up as divine oracles and pontificators of the
word of God, but they themselves will not get their hands
dirty, therefore they will not have my power.
Did not the Son of God go into the highways and the
byways? Did
not the Son of God identify himself with the people?
Did he not walk with them; talk with them; sit with
sinners; eat with harlots and prostitutes? Did he not mix with the common folk?
Did he seclude himself on the high hill and only
communicate with the high priest of the body?
Did he only fellowship with those of like lineage,
like calling? Did
he only quote “let his hair down” with people
who were on the same level as he was, or was he a man of
the people? Did
he choose his friends from the poor: Lazarus, Mary of
Bethany? The
King of Glory was not best buddies with Caiaphas, with the
leaders of the temple, with the Roman centurions of the
time. He did
not seek to hang out with the " Hollywood stars" but he went
down to Bethlehem; he went down to Bethel; he went down to
the cities of Israel and he made his friends among the
people.
What does that
tell you? That
your best friendships come from those who have no power,
no ability to help you; they can’t finance your
ministry; they can’t fund you.
Oh how men chase after the big buck people and oh
how they loose the anointing of God when they do!
If you want the anointing of God, if you want to
see eyes opened and miracles happen, if you want to be
pleasing to your heavenly Father then walk as he walked;
talk as he talked; do the things that are pleasing in his
sight.
There
are doors that are automatically triggered in heaven when
you do the right thing.
You don’t have to beg and knock.
That is why they don’t open.
People beg and knock and kick and scream and the
doors will never open because they are opened, they are
automatically opened – there’s an automatic door
opener on the things of God in heaven – they are opened
by obedience.

They’re
not opened by much prayer; they’re not opened by
giving; they’re not opened by money; they’re not
opened by cutting your arms and fasting and praying.
You think that by your much prayer, you’ll be
heard? I
doubt it.
When I tell you to go to Jerusalem
and minister and you go down and set up an outreach on
the beach and call it the will of God, do you think
I’m going to bless you? Do you think I’m going to open doors for you? Do you think
that the miraculous is going to fall?
No! You’ve
been in disobedience, yet you want the power of God, you
want the openings of God, you want the great things of
God so that you can be perceived as a great leader. But great leaders go to great lengths to obey
me.
They get on ships and they come to nations when
they only have $300 in their pocket (Rodney
Howard-Browne). They do things that I tell them to do and then
God shows up, and then God has his way.
So I’m training you.
I’m not teaching you to condemn anyone or to be
at odds with anyone, but I’m telling you, as Jesus
told the people about the Pharisees, “Listen to what
they say, but don’t do what they do.”
They love to do what they do.
It’s a pretence. They are whited sepulchres.
They tell you to do things that they themselves
won’t lift a finger to do! So don’t follow their
example, but follow Mine, says the Lord:
wash the feet; go down to the right places when
you’re told; make your friends right; be obedient to
your heavenly father.
Why did not the Lord pick his disciples from the ruling
class of Israel? Why
did he not go to the temple and pick the high priest and
the leaders of the nation?
Why did he go to the fishermen, the tax
collectors? Because
he knew they’d obey him.
He knew they had a heart for God that they would
do the right thing. And he knew that the other people
would heap it upon themselves and abuse the power of God
and take advantage of the sheep.
Therefore he chose his disciples wisely.
So
it is in the coming days.
Choose your friends by the Holy Spirit.
Don’t choose them by what they can do for you.
Choose them by what the Holy Ghost tells you.
The power of God is going to fall in your
ministries if you have hearts that are right. You
will be used in healing.
I will advance you as long as you do the type of
obedience that has been set before you in this example:
When I call, you respond.
When I ask you, you say, “Yes, Lord,”
even if you don’t understand.
Then I will bless you, saith God.
I will reward you for what you’ve done.
You won't have to go empty-handed.
I will repay, but I’m giving you
lessons in faith, lessons in obedience, lessons in how
to move with God and not depend on people.
Heaven is opening for this group.
Heaven is opening.
Your obedience plus the other things you are
doing: yes you need to pray; yes, you need to walk
right; yes, you need to do the other things.
But you cannot get heaven to open without the
on time obedience also to the Holy Ghost and that is the
element that is so missing in the churches.
They
will fast; they will pray; they will give their money;
they will attend; they will do a number of things, but
they fall short of heaven’s requirement of obedience
to the Holy Ghost and then they are left with a measure
or a level of Christianity, but they don’t have the
fullness of the Spirit flowing on them. It’s
because they won’t follow him fully, so they get a
measure of the anointing and they simply have to fake
the rest, because they don’t have it, because I
can’t release it.
It’s
triggered automatically by obedience.
So hear the Lord and obey the Lord; it’s that
simple and if you’ll hear, if you’ll have an ear to
hear and then you’ll have a heart to obey, things will
happen.
