The Fullness of the Messiahship

Who is the King of Glory and how shall we call him. He is Emmanuel the promised of Ages and he comes to you riding upon the donkey’s foal. Can you receive him in such a low estate? Ancient Israel stumbled over the King of Glory because he was dressed in such a lowly form. He came to the city and they despised and rejected him and could not receive him even though the fullness of the Godhead dwelled inside of him, his exterior was so lowly and so repulsive to their religious eyes that they could not receive him.

That which they had been looking for, they stumbled over because they expected it in another manner, another form that would bring them honor, that would bring them glory, that would make them the head of the nation, that would exalt them. They would use the King of Glory for their purposes. But the King of Glory will not be used by anyone for any purpose. He has his own purpose and he has his own venue and he has his own plans and he will stop the plans of man.

Time and time again he will stop the plans of men. He will anger the most righteous of men. He will anger the most religious of leaders. Many follow him to a certain extent and then they have to fall back because they cannot comprehend him. He cometh to you in a lowly form. Will you receive the King of Glory? Will you take him – the donkey, the robe, the whips, the bruises, the treachery, the betrayals that swirl around his ministry: betrayed over and over by those close to him, denied, rejected, lied about – and yet he pressed on to Calvary to win his prize, to win that which his father had set before him.

It is a lonely valley when you enter into the fullness of the messiahship. You will walk as he walked. You will walk as he walked. You will experience what he experienced. When you mature in Christ you will mature into the walk that he walked. Did he not say, “You will walk as I walked; you will be rejected as I was rejected; but you will also receive the reward.”

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort…”

You walk alone in this thing. No man can touch you; no man can reach you; no man can help you. Only the angels of God come to strengthen you in due seasons of your life. You will experience what he experienced when all fall away and it is just you and heaven and the demons are screaming in your ears, “You will never make it; I will defeat you.”

But there is safety in lowliness. There is safety in lowliness of mind, Humble thyself under the mighty hand of God and in due season, if you faint not, you shall reap all that God has promised. Each one of you must receive the Messiah in his lowliest form. It will be the test. It will be the very thing that separates you from the destiny that I have for you. You will become mundane and ordinary or you will go on and you will persevere and you will become extraordinary in God. And some of you will live your whole life behind the scenes and no one will ever know what you have done. But heaven will break out in tremendous joy when you enter. There will be the bowing of the saints before you when you walk down the streets of Glory because of what you’ve done behind the scenes that no one knew of.

Fear not, saith the Lord, I watch over every one of my saints to reward them according to their faithfulness to that which I’ve called them to do. Some are called to stand and rebuke nations; others are called to stay in the prayer closet and faithfully support those on the frontline.

Don’t despise what you’ve been called to do, because what you’ve been called to do is just as important as that which happens on the frontlines, and people do not believe me when I say that, but it is a surety saith the Lord. What you do behind the scenes is as important as what happens out front, because what happens out front could never happen if it wasn’t for those behind the scenes. Their knees are bleeding from hours of prayer – literally bleeding from hours of prayer as they wrestle with the demonic forces that seek to destroy the leaderships. And leaderships are ignorant of even things that happen in prayer. They have no idea why they are having great victories at times – it is those lowly saints, whom some can’t even spell, can’t even speak properly, but they know how to get a hold of God, they know how to pray. And they do effect things, believe me. They are effective.

Invest in your prayer armies. If you would see your kingdom grow in the future, invest in the prayer armies around you, for therein is the secret to the kingdom. Why do you think he pulled aside for literally nights and days at a time and couldn’t be found? He was resupplying his arsenal from the weapons of heaven. And when he came down, he knew his father’s will. No one had to tell him. No one had to go to him and say, “I think the Lord is telling me that you should do this, or I think God is saying… ”

He had a knowing in his heart of the divine will of his father. And nothing could turn him from it – not the temple priests, not the crowds, not the demons, not even the disciples could discourage him from doing that which his Father had put in his heart, because he knew that he was responsible to his father not to those around him. He was responsible to this father in heaven, not to history, not to the high priest, not to the nation. But he was responsible to carry out that spiritual burden that God had placed within him.

And each one of you have a calling, you have a knowing. Even as the birds have a knowing which direction is north or south and where to go, each one of you know where you belong and what you are supposed to do with your life. And you will come before me one day and you will stand and you will say, “I didn’t know.” And I will say, “You knew; you knew what your job was; you knew what your position was.” Take your position. Take your ranks in the church of God and fight the good fight until the day that you come unto me.

And if you must walk alone, then walk alone. If you must believe alone, then believe alone, but do not let that which happens around you effect that which you know inside is your job and your calling and your destiny. Fulfill that which I’ve given you, even if it is unto death. Many died in the faith. They died not having yet seen that which they were believing for.

Thank God, you’ve already seen much of what I’ve promised you. You’ve seen more than most saints have ever seen. Rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice. In your most wicked trials, rejoice in the Lord. You must have eyes and visions of faith that see beyond the natural, that see beyond the seemingly what you would call defeats, yet I call stripes of Glory upon your back. You call them defeats, but I call them stripes of glory upon your back! I call them wounds of God. I call them that which what He walked through.

You are walking as he walked. But you don’t know it. You don’t understand it. You haven’t grasped the depths and the maturity of the Christian walk yet. You have not really understood that that which you suffer is for my name’s sake, and if you could really learn to glorify in the suffering, you would find a peace, a sweet peace in it that is beyond description, it’s beyond belief, it’s beyond the natural, it is the supernatural. And you could glory in your afflictions and you could find peace and rest in your sufferings.

The trick to it all is a one on one with your heavenly father locked away for hours and hours. And you would say, “But I can’t” but I say, “You can.” I say, “You can if you want to.” Turn off the radio; turn off the TVs. Turn off the problems of this life and come again to Me. It doesn’t matter what happens on the horizontal plane; it really doesn’t. What matters is what happens between you and me in that closet. And oh, it is there that I meet you; it is there that I comfort you; it is there that I impart to your soul the wisdom, the strength and the courage to go another step in this life.

The older you get the harder it gets. It will not be easy as you grow older. You will need me more than ever. So come onto Me. Fall on me. Cry like a child unto me and I will comfort you, I will holpen you, I will pick you up and I will carry you into your old age, and I will make a way for you where there is no way. When you say, “There’s no way,” I will make a way. I will keep my promise. I will keep my promises. I will be faithful. I will make a way.

Fear not. My hand is upon your lives. That which you’ve committed unto me will not be wasted. Though you be slain at the altar when you are kneeling in prayer your blood will cry for centuries unto God and you will receive your reward. No one can take that which I have for you. And I don’t care about your transgressions; I don’t care about your faults; I don’t care about your sins. I can remit them and I can cover them with the blood of Christ. A repentant heart has always found favor in the courts of God. Even if men hate you, God will love you. God will love you; God will take you to his bosom. And he will correct eventually all that is wrong. Fear not.
