Yes, I will bring you into the secret place of the Most High.  It is a place for those who are diligent.  It is a place for those who are obedient.  It is a place for those who want me more than they want their life, more than they want their reputation, more than they want their name.  It is a place for those who say in their heart, "I don't care what the other Christians think of me; I don't care what the world thinks of me; I don't care what that guy across the pew thinks of me.  I will have my God, and if I am held up as ridicule and as a mocking thing, then so be it.  But I will find Him and I will have what he has for me.” 

         Others have turned back, and others have said, "Whoa, the way is too steep; I can't bear the stigma of walking in that particular ministry; I believe I'll stay where I am and keep the respect that I have earned.”  But I say unto you, you can have your respect, but you will not have me, saith the Lord.  You will not have me in my fullness.  You will not enter into the secret place of the Most High.  You will not have what the Lord Jesus experienced with the Father, because He was willing to bear the reproach; he was willing to bear the shame; he was willing to go to the Cross.  "For the joy that was set before Him, he endured the Cross, despising the shame and the suffering." 

         Be as those who are willing to walk, even yes, naked before their brothers and sisters and take the slings and the arrows of persecutions that come, no not from the camp on the outside, but from the camp on the inside when the disciples turn and rebuke you and say that you have a devil and begin to tell you that you cannot fulfill the call of God upon your life because it doesn't fit their preordained plans of what they perceived that you were called to be.  Yet they knew not what the Lord's true purpose was: that he must die that they would receive eternal life. 

         Many of you must die that others will receive eternal life, and others will try to stop you from fulfilling the inner call that's in your being, because you know there's a cross you have to go to; you know there's a price you have to pay; you know that there's a jeering and a mocking waiting for you; there's a trial; there's a scourging.  There's a crucifixion in your future and you know it, and you know that you must go on and fulfill this in order to please your Heavenly Father.  You will know the purpose, you’ll know the reason, you’ll know the intent of it and you’ll know why you're doing it, but others around you will not and they will even seek to block you as Peter sought to block the Lord.

        But I'm going to bring you into the secret place of the Most High and believe me, it is a place of peace.  I am the God of all peace.  Why do you fret and worry?  You can't even turn one hair upon your head another color.  What can you do about the future?  What control do you have over the eternal destiny of this planet?  You have none.  You can't change the color of a leaf.  You can't add one hair to your head.  You can't change anything.  Only I have the power. 

         What power do you have?  You have a lot of power; you have power with me, saith the Lord.  You have the power to talk to me; you have the power to come and sit on my lap; you have the power as my child to move my heart on your behalf!  You have power with the Almighty, but you have no power outside of that.  For unless I issue the command, one leaf does not fall, one sparrow does not hit the ground, one hair of your head cannot be changed unless I command it.  All things are in my hands.  All power in heaven and earth resides in your Heavenly Father.

         So, what power do you have?  You are powerless, saith the Lord, without me.  So what is to be your primary concern?  What would be, if you were wise, what would be your primary concern?  Oh, that you would get up on your Father's lap and oh, that you would know his heart, and oh that you would begin to say,

         "Father, I don't know how to come in or go out.  I am a child.  Unless you help me, I'm lost.  Unless you protect me, I'm dead.  Unless you show me wisdom, I am going to be consumed.  Father, I want to be so close to you that they can't tell where you end and I begin.  Father, I want to sit on your lap daily.  Father, I want to hear your voice.  Father, I don't want to grieve your heart; I don't want to do one thing that upsets you or offends you.  I want to be so close to you that I don't want to ever leave your loving arms.  I want to sit on your lap through eternity.  I want to hear your heartbeat in my ear.  I want my head on your chest, Father, and I want to hear your heartbeat, God.  I want to hear the heartbeat of my father, but I don't want to move a muscle outside of that heartbeat.  I want my father's will; I want my father's good pleasure.  I want my Father to look at me and say, ‘Oh, you are a good child; you are a good son; you are a good daughter.’  And I want your hand to stroke my hair and I want your hand to come forward on my behalf.  And I don't want to wander away from you and try to move the world and do things that aren't your will."

        This is the secret place of the Most High and you will be persecuted for it.  Your brethren will come against you.  They will say, "Why don't you come and do this with me?  Why don't you?  Why are you sitting there?”  They do not know you are sitting on my lap; they just see you sitting.  They say, "Why are you sitting there?  Why aren't you concerned?  Don't you know, don't you know the Romans are coming?  They're going to take this.  Everything is going to be lost!”  Nothing can be lost; nothing can be lost; nothing can be lost.  Only that which I desire to be burned, in which I have foreordained will be destroyed, burned and lost. 

         Oh, you have peace, you have security with me.  You're going to heaven because of the blood of my Son.  What more do you need?  What more of a surety do you need that I'll take you in?  I've given you my only Son.  I’ve put his blood on the altar for you.  You are going to Heaven.  You are going to come into the kingdom; that is assured.  What are you worried about? If you loose things that are on earth, it doesn't matter, because in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye you will be with me.  You will blink your eye, and you'll be out of your body and up in my presence, saith the Lord.  So, why not enjoy it now?  Why not relax now?  Relax on your Father's lap.  It is a place of rest; it is a place of comfort; it is a place of trust.

        It doesn't matter what happens on this plane.  All that matters is that you are next to my heart, and you can hear my heartbeat.  When you can hear my heart beating, you're close enough; you're close enough.  When you no longer can feel and sense my joy, my love, my presence with you, when you can't hear – feel the heartbeat beating against you ear – you’ve  wandered too far.  Don't pick your head up off my chest.  I don't want you to.  You don't have to.  You lay on Me; you lean on Me; you trust in Me; you rest in Me.  “There is a rest wherewith I will cause the weary to rest.”

         You wear yourselves out supposedly for my Kingdom's sake, but it is not for my Kingdom's sake.  It is for preconceived notions and ideas of what you think I want you to do.  I want you at rest; I want you at peace; I want you full of joy and happiness.  That's what I want.  Now will you come and sit and lean your head on my chest and just wait on Me and revel on Me?   

        And I'll tell you what, you can experience present joy from future events.  You say, "What do you mean by this, God?"  Think about it.  Think about the day that you are going to step out of this body and come into that fullness of the Kingdom of God.  Doesn't that bring a little smile to your face?  Doesn't that go, "Oooooh, I can't wait for that!"  Think about it.  What does this earthly life mean?  What does this present day.... sure the days are filled of trouble and evil.  They always will be, but you can live inside thinking, "Oh, I'm going to walk into his presence soon.  Soon there'll be no more bars to hold my soul.  Soon there'll be no more trials to trip my feet.  Soon there'll be no more of these headaches and nightmares and problems to face. Oh, my goodness, what will it be like when I enter his presence?  What's it going to be like when I step out of this body and into eternity with Him - the One who loves me?”

        You can have present joy from a future event.  Draw on that.  Live, suck that out of the future into your present and the present will fade away and you will begin to walk in a supernatural joy.  "For the joy that was set before Him, Jesus endured the Cross, despising the suffering and shame."  He was living in a future tense.  He knew what was going to happen and he took that joy, that future joy of the billions of souls that would come into the Kingdom, and the joy of his Father, and He walked it out here on earth in the natural, much as you can.  Think of the things that are to come and let that sustain you.  He said, "I have meat that you know not of."  This is what he was talking about. 

         I will teach you the secrets of the kingdom.  I'll teach you how to walk through this place in joy and in peace, but you will have to listen to Me and not to the tapes and the books that are flying around this planet.  They will run you into the ground.  You will not find peace and joy; you will find a treadmill that you can never get off of.  You can never do enough work; you can never.  It will be a constant wearing out of your soul.  

         There is nothing wrong with sitting for 8 hours in the presence of God.  Who knows what you have released in the spirit.  Hannah sat quietly before me - never said a word out loud - and I granted Samuel to the Kingdom.  Think about it.  Think about what you can accomplish on my lap.  You can do more for this earth on my lap than you can running 100 places and taking 50 flights and stirring up 100 different fires.  You sit on my lap and I'll order it done.  I'll order it done!  You think anything or anybody can resist my will?  I'll take Pharaoh and I'll loosen him and I'll harden him in my will.  I’ll make him dump treasure in your lap.  I paid my people for the work they did in Egypt.  I made the Egyptians pour wealth on them.

         You will not work for me and I will not pay you; I will pay you, saith the Lord.  I can order things done.  You think a child can't move the heart of a father?  You think a father doesn't delight in his children?  But what about when children won't spend time with the father?  What about when they ignore the father?  They come in once a week and say, "Give me, give me, give me," and they're gone.  I am a father, saith the Lord.  I dote on you; I cherish you.  But you have a free will; you can run from me.  Where are my children in this present day?  All they do is shout requests from the door and then they're gone. 

         Come; come.  I long to fellowship with my loved ones.  I long to have my children on my lap.  I long to have them stoke my face and look in my eyes and put their little heads on my chest and sigh and tell me how much they love me. Oh!  You want to move the heart of your Father?  Spend some time with him.  Dote on him; love him; show him the affection and oh, see what he will do for you.  See what he will command for his little one.  There's a secret in the kingdom.  There are secrets to the kingdom of God.

         Those of you that have pulled aside this night to come here, you are not appointed unto destruction.  You are not appointed unto confusion.  You are not appointed unto a rough way to go.  You are those, like John, who long to lean their heads on my chest and I'm going to allow it, and I'm going to show you things, and secrets.  Come, saith the Lord, away with me.  Come into my presence.  Come into my lap.  Come and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly of heart and you will find rest for your soul.

         I said I'd meet all your needs.  I will.  Will you stay put on my lap and do only the things that I ask?  When I'm ready for you to do something - let me give you a secret of the kingdom - when I'm ready for you to get off that lap and do something, I'm going to speak to you.  I'm going to say, "Child, will you go get that for me?"  And you can hop down off my lap under my full protection and blessing and grace and you can run over across the room, out the door, down the hall and get what I want and come right back, and get back up on my lap.

         The only thing you have to do is what I tell you to.  You don't have to go out that door and then listen to what everybody else tells you that you have to do.  Because they will take you, they will abuse you, they will use you, they will tell you that I said this, and I said that, and I demand this, and I demand that, and it's a lie!  I did not tell them.  They are playing boss.  They are playing God.  You only have to do what I ask you to and when you do, you'll find joy in it and peace and you're allowed to come right back onto me.

        Secrets of the Kingdom... secrets of the Kingdom.... they are imparted when we are heart to heart.  And I will teach you many things, many things in the quietness, in the stillness of your soul and your heart - one on one with Me.  Oh, how'd you like to spend 8 hours with God and get away from the clamoring and noise and all the confusion and all the demands and just sit in my presence and just sit on my lap?  And you and I will talk, and we'll have fun, saith the Lord.  We'll talk about all kinds of things…  "God, why did you make the dolphins?  They're such wondrous creatures; they jump and flip; why are they flipping; why do they laugh all the time?"  I'll talk to you about things.  I'll share with you the secrets of this world.  It is up to you.  You're a freewill creature. 

        Come, saith the Lord. come.  Let us fellowship.  Let us talk.  I'll send you on missions.  I'll send my angels with you.  But if you go on a mission that's not authorized by me, you'll come back and say, "God, what happened?"  And I'll say, "I didn't send you on that one." 

         Wisdom, wisdom, I'm calling you to wisdom, the wisdom that Christ possessed.  For he did only the things that his father showed him.  You have that privilege - that right.  You do not have to obey your brother and sister when they go to boss you around.  I didn't give them authority over you.  I am the Father of the Body, the Father of the House.  I'll issue the orders.  You don't have to clean your brother's room; it's his responsibility.
