So many of these little
ones had to grow up with that picture of an angry God and then when they
did reach the age of maturity they did say, "How can I love someone
like that?" Oh, let them know the heart of the Father; he's their
daddy.
Yes, he forgives; yes, he can forgive the wicked but he also will
punish those who would dare touch even the feet of his little babies, of
his little ones, of his children. Loving God, forgiving God, but also a
just God. But those who are his children who are walking in the paths of
righteousness need not fear for he has his mercies to pour out upon them
and his great love. Come
up and jump on your daddy's lap.
Come Adam and Eve.
Come walk in the garden of your God.
Tell him about your day.
Tell him about your little problems.
He is not too busy to not take a minute and listen.
You're his beloved one, his beloved one, his beloved one and as you
commune do you not know he sends out his ministering angels, but if you
remain silent how can the orders go forth?
So
teach your little ones not to be afraid to talk with their God when they
have sins in their hearts and their lives.
That is what the mercy seat is for; that is what the cross is for,
because your God did know and see that the law of sin and death was so
hard; it was impossible to be perfect.
There is no one perfect except God and God alone.
He is the one who has committed no sins.
So, look around among you and realize everyone here has committed
their sins and he who would say he is sinless, is saying even a fib in the
House of God.
There is only one sinless Lamb, and he died and he paid for it all.
So teach your little ones, yes, to come, to kneel, to bow their
heads and pray - to say "Oh, Daddy, forgive me; I did this again, and
this again, and this again and I am so sorry.
Help me, help me, help me, help me, help me."
Oh, and I will be so faithful to help you.
It is the ones who that clinch their cheek and chin and have that
hardness of heart and will not confess… do you not even see that in the
natural realm with the judges who do sit on seats of justice.
For those who plead for mercy and beg for forgiveness and admit
their wrongdoing, do they not receive the lesser sentence?
But it is those who refuse to say they ever did anything wrong,
that they are the ones who receive the stiff sentences.
It is so in the House of God.
That is why you see some blessed and you see some that are so
greatly disciplined.
It
is not that one house doesn't sin and the other one does but it is that
one house has learned how to beg for forgiveness, how to avail themselves
of the mercy seat, how to sprinkle the Blood of the Lamb on the door
posts, on the bedposts at night: over their babies, over their husbands,
over their wives.
That's the difference, my children.
It's the blood; it's the blood; it's the blood; it's the mercies of
God shown down upon the ones who avail themselves of the blood. So come on in. Come on in. Get your sins cleansed daily. Even when you're having a good day pray for the sins you know you're going to end up committing next week or next month! Come in; come in; come into the storehouse of God. There's not too many sins that cannot be forgiven; there's not any, lest you would totally turn your back on God. And there's even those who would say they're atheists and yet they're not. They still think about God; they're wondering. So
go get them.
They know that you don't love the God that one preached about, or
what they grew up with, but you're going to fall madly in love with this
God - the God of salvation, the creator of Heaven and Earth, the One who
sent his son to die.
He is a just God, he is a loving God, he is a merciful God; he's a
faithful God; he is a good God.
Who could not help but fall in love with this one?
He's the beloved of your soul; he's the lover of your soul; he's
the Baptizer; he's the Holy Ghost walker.
He did sent his Holy Ghost fire upon his people.
He's the Healer; he's the Teacher; he's the Revelator; he's the
Prophesier; he's the Creator and he's the Ultimate King of the universe. Those
who would look back and say, "Oh, I wish I had lived in the days of
the kings.
Guess what… are you not my princes and princesses of the kingdom
of glory?
Walk in those shoes.
Walk in those mantles.
You are mine.
You do live in a royal realm; you live in a royal realm.
So
let the other ones know.
They don't have to stay in the gutters of their lives but they can
come up above it all and their countenance can be totally changed.
As they are washed inside they're going to be whitewashed outside:
clean hearts, clean families, clean homes, clean minds walking in the
goodness of God.
My people can be a good people as they allow my spirit to flow
through them, as they allow me to put in new hearts, new minds within
their bodies and their souls and their spirits.
Don't
just give your heart to God, but hold unto your mind!
It's not going to work that way.
A rejuvenation of the heart, mind and soul, then you'll see the
spirit anointed ones, then you'll see the love of God flowing through them
- when they can shut off that carnal mind and yes, love the drug addict,
and yes, love the backsliden one that did this, this, this and this that
the grapevine said, when they could turn off that mind and totally love,
totally love, totally love, totally love. How
did the Lord Jesus heal all those and forgive all those?
Did he not forgive the sins of the man who was let down through the
roof? He
forgave sins and then he let him stand on his feet.
He walked in forgiveness.
It was through the forgiveness and mercy that the healings did flow
and the restoration to the Father did come forth and the church did grow. Allow
forgiveness to be the pump of your heart: in and out, forgiveness and
mercy; in and out, right and left ventricle in and out forgiveness and
mercy. Let
God be the judge.
You be the lovers; you be the forgivers, the welcomers.
Welcome them in. Even
in the story of the prodigal son, what did his daddy do?
This child had spent the fortune; he had been carousing with those
he had been told time and time again those are the bad ones don't go in
that neighborhood.
And when he came back ragged tired and worn and poor, he didn't
say, "I told you so."
He didn't punish him; he'd been punished enough.
He'd been punished enough!
And he gave him that welcome kiss, and he didn't smell good yet.
Then he said to his servants, "Clean him up and give him a new
robe."
You
kiss the unlovely; you welcome them in, in their state and then you show
them to the banqueting table and the feast of the Lamb.
You can do that when the anointing of God does come upon you.
If you just take that step, sometimes even in the natural - just
like it is with speaking in tongues, just like it is when singing a song.
Take the step in the natural. Stick that hand out to shake their
hand and give them a hug and the anointing will fall upon you.
And you'll find yourself slipping them that Pentecostal handshake
and making sure they have food on their table and that their little ones
have clean clothes to wear to school in the morning. That's
true Christianity; that's the love of God in motion when they see that
God's people really do care and it's not just lip service on Sunday
morning, but it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
"How are you?
We missed you.
What can we do for you?"
And truly mean it!
They might say they need some work on their automobile; oh, they
might say that they've been having to visit their sick relative and you
come help.
Go and do some dishes; help out with those little ones - the love
of God in motion.
When you think of yourselves really as a family there's nothing you
cannot do or accomplish for me.
