Where
are you going and where have you been? Walking
the streets with the Heavenly King? Stopping
to hear the angel choirs sing? Were
you preaching alongside Barnabas & Paul? Or
praying beside Daniel, the greatest intercessor of all? How
many people have you seen touched,
delivered and redeemed From
the curse of the Law and the curses of man? How
many hearts have been mended again? Yes,
you see with the eyes of the Savior’s face Deep
into mens’ lives – their pains erase With
the touch of God’s power and the strength of his hand You
call them forth to rise and walk again Into
the future that God himself designed and planned. For
you hear the words and the voice of the King You
live your life as a living offering Unto
the Master, the Ancient of Days Your
walk’s not your own; you do what he does say. In
this, you’re called his servant and a
brother of the King In
a life of sacrifice you prophesy and teach Relentlessly
roaring the warrior’s cry Giving
your life’s blood for the Savior on high With
the heart of a lion and the strength of a bear Each
day you press on winning battles in your prayers With
the sword that you sling and the words that you speak Mountains
do tumble and become dust at your feet For
you carry the mantle of men long ago As
did Ezekiel and Daniel whose books you do quote But
what shall be written and what shall be told Of
this bold lion on the day he does go To
reap his eternal heavenly reward? What
shall be waiting; what shall be in store? Yes,
each time you give and minister unto Me By
Mine holy instruction and holy decree Much
treasure is placed within a vault for thee Guarded
by angels with a royal key And
each time you bless those I ask you to bless Each
time you pray and release my goodness Each
time you declare, “Let my people go!” Each
time you pick up five smooth stones The
giant does fall, as people are set free Their
hearts are touched and lives made complete. Son,
there is both an earthly and a heavenly
reward For
those who give of their lives in service of the Lord But
the greatest reward you can ever hope to see Is
when you lay it all down and place it at my feet Kings
& kingdoms shall all pass away But
the love of the Master is forever and
always That
is the greatest treasure and reward I have for thee To
show you my heart and share my love with thee Would
you not lay it all down every dime, every time For
just a moment with the Master, for just a minute of his time? For
if you seek the greatest treasure It’s
not to be found on corral reefs Or
within deep caverns or upon high mountain peaks. For
the greatest treasure of all mankind Is
to know the heart of the Father, To
be shown his will and mind Will
you value these above all else Above
fine riches and wealth sublime? Or
like the rich young ruler, Will
you go your own way and fail the test of
time? Could
you lay it all down, even your golden crown, Which
I myself did place upon your head? Could
you let it all go, all of the hype and the show To
sit quietly at the feet of the Great Shepherd again? Could you be content with
some oil and wine? Could
you walk his path with dusty feet? Could
you reach out to the lame, The
wounded, those left behind? Could
you go to those lying in the streets? Where
would you see the Son of Man If
he were to return and walk the earth again? Where
would his voice echo? Where on earth
would he be? Who
would be his companions? To
whom would he say, “Come follow Me!” Not
many noble or learned men Were
among the twelve he chose that day Not
many had great talents or gifts To
wow the earth when put on display. And
yet through these poor fishermen Christianity
burst on the scene And
through their lives a whole world was changed Mens’
hearts and souls were redeemed As
they became living testimonies of The
life and times of the King of Kings! And
so, my son, What
shall be written and what shall be told When
through the gates of Heaven Mine
angels do lead thee home? Will
you be among the disciples who lived in your day? How
shall Saint Peter greet you When
you knock at the pearly gates? Did
you give the Lord your whole heart, Your
mind, your very soul? Did
you value his love above all others Loving
Him with your whole heart, mind and soul? Or
did they lead you away from always seeking his face? Did
you find your mind wandering wishing to be in another place? There
is no place too dismal where his light cannot shine There
is no life too hopeless where his life cannot bring light. What shall be written at
the end of your life? What
have you done with your King? Were
you to be found among the Brotherhood of Knights Fighting
the good fight together in service of the King? Will
you know each curve of his face, The
beat of his heart, the look of his gaze? Will
you recognize the One whom you have served? Will
you know his voice? Did
you treasure his words The
ones spoken in the quiet of the night to thee Or
in the morning hours as you rose from sleep For
friendship with the Master is what I have
for thee If
you’re willing to lay it all down and walk on now with Me For
the people don’t need another King herding sheep They
don’t need to build another Kingdom Or
chase another dream. But
what they do need is one on one time with Me. You’ve
been there briefly when in tongues you do speak. But
I’m calling you now into a deeper walk Into
something you’ve never yet seen. Will
you come be a Holy Ghost walker on earth for Me Morning,
noon and night And
even when others eat and sleep Crying
out to the Master to come spend some time with thee? For
what shall sustain my people in the coming days Is
not a gimmick or slogan of man But
the fruit of my Spirit running through their veins The
knowledge that the Holy Spirit of God dwells within them Show
them how to do it, Be
an example unto Me Of
Holy Ghost living and righteous tending of sheep Trampling
not upon the tenderest of these But
gently leading them in worship of the King And
true worship isn’t done with a hymn or a song It’s
with your whole life from morning ‘til night! Come
show them how it’s meant to be Walking
hand in hand with Christ the King Speaking
his tongue, sharing what he speaks Moving
as he moves, seeing what he sees Will
you come and be a friend of the King? Friendship is what I have to offer It’s
the greatest treasure I have for thee. by
