A Man of Destiny

A prophetic poem by Bonnie Franklin

Far away beyond the seas
Shall you share and spread the gospel for Me
When the day and the hour of my campaign shall begin
In the taking of this world for the Son of Man
Shall not each tribe of each family
Come to hear of Christ who can set them free
Some through thee shall come to know the truth
Of God’s love and peace and eternal truths
Of love everlasting and life eternally
Around my throne with the Angels to sing praises to Me

This year and the last are but a second of time in your past
Dwell not upon the ticking hand of the clock
For son, all time shall soon cease and stop
As I do turn back the hands of time
To the day and the hour of that first church of mine
And once again shall the earth see my anointed men
And all that I’ve planned shall come down to them

So, fret not within they heart; trouble not thine head
It shall all come and shall all be
What I have planned and prepared for thee
You shall not be lost in the coming hour divine
For out of the ruins of this backward Church
Shall come that glorious Church of Mine
A Church, which shall glow with my holy fire
A Church, which shall set this whole world a flame and afire

Think not that is shall never be
Think not that this you’ll never see
For see it you will as My dreams you’ll help fulfill
It’s not idle talk nor foolish dreams
For the dreams of the Son and the Angels
Shall soon come into being

 Something special and something sweet
Shall come from the heart of God, from my table for thee
And you shall not be the man that you do now see
But a total change shall come upon the heart of man
As I place upon you my anointing and reveal to you my plans
No longer to be called Simon, the poor fisherman
But Peter, my rock, a fisher of men

You shall know a dying of the man that you now are
And a resurrecting of a chosen son who shines like the stars
As Moses once glowed from the sound of my voice
You shall change as the son of earth encounters the Ancient of Days

So be patient, my strong one; thy appointed day shall come
When you are called up out of your body
To receive your own cap and gown
Thy graduation day is coming; commencement is about to begin
As one by one I do call out the names of my chosen men

Who shall come and stand before me
As I reveal to them the plans of destiny?
You shall know your rank and number
You shall answer when thy name is called
In the gathering of Joel’s Army
First in heaven and then on the ground
As each one answers when my Angel reads out the list
So happy shall they be that they were picked to enlist
A mighty victorious army as the world has never seen
Yet but tasted once in the hour of the Apostles
Once again shall my power be seen

So, be patient yet a little while longer
Loose not hope; thy life is in Mine hands
For in the final hour all shall be as I have designed and planned
Trust in Me and all shall be as I’ve dreamed it shall be
For those are my dreams, son, that I have placed deep within thee

Hold onto the dreams given by thy God
For it’s I who shall put in order; it’s I who shall put in place
Each and every timber of my building
As I build that Church of Mine that time can’t stop or erase
For that glorious Church without spot or wrinkle
Cannot be built by the hands of man
Only I have the blueprints and designs
For I am the Master Builder, the Architect of all Time

Worry not if what you do now see
Does crumble and fall down
It shall not distract nor hinder Me
For I shall build that which I set my hands to
And nothing of heaven nor earth shall tear my pillars down
For it’s not built upon earthly ground, but a foundation of the Spirit
That men’s eyes and minds cannot see

Come and build with Mine Angels and Me
And you shall see the works of thy hands
As directed by Mine hand never rot nor mold
But more beautiful to behold than any earthly church or cathedral
Shall my Spirit come down to and descend

Where is the church planted by the Son of Man?
Do you see the ruins of an earthly temple?
No, for He did build one, which the eye cannot see
But one, which does last for eternity

Once again shall such a church rise
Take shape and house my Spirit again
Will you come be a pillar in it?
Will you be one of the founding men?
Will you come and be
A man of destiny,
As in thy heart
You’ve known you should be
